Since the film revolves around the courtroom, the exterior court scenes were filmed in this Art Gallery. This place made a perfect match for the movie as this was originally established as a provincial courthouse from 1911 to 1979. Then, in the early 80s, the collection from the art museum of Western Canada was relocated to this museum.
